Pripryat/Chernobyl is very interesting, although obviously unfortunate. I've always wanted to visit.

Just remember according to that creationist guy, half-lifes are not an exact science that can be measured nor calculated. . . . . . . . . ... . . . . . . . . . . . .. .
Actually the radioactivity of elements is very interesting along with nuclear reactors. It is simply amazing how the monitoring of the heat and quenching of heat can produce enough steam to power turbines. The turbines are also amazing with super tight tolerances that seem just ridiculous. Have fun learning. I know I want to learn more about it and I am pretty sure I will while finishing my chem degree.

I did the same thing after watching it. I had done a bunch of research into it a few years back, but leave it to Top Gear to peak your interest in something again!
